Cold Dill Sour Cream Sauce

This sauce is great with any fish or seafood dish, or as a vegetable dip.

1/2 cup     Sour cream
3 tbsp       Mayonnaise
2-3 tbsp   Chopped fresh dill
2 tbsp       Chopped green onion
2 tbsp       Chopped fresh parsley
                  Salt and pepper to taste

Mix together well, sprinkle with a little chopped green onion to serve.

For variation, add minced garlic and/or lemon zest. Can also be made lighter with buttermilk instead of sour cream. Filter 1.5% buttermilk through a melitta filter for a few hours or overnight in the fridge, and you'll get a low-fat, mild sour cream.
