Porcupine Designs began it's operations when Lisa McCargar started out making soap for the personal use for her family. She started coming to the Farmers’ Market in 1987, making 6 different kinds of soap, which over time progressed to the current 16 varieties. She also now makes bath and facial care products now, as well as scented soaps. Also found at her booth are homemade pottery soap dishes, scrubbers, and various bath accessories. 

The assortment of personal care products Porcupine Designs offers at the Farmers' Market consist of scented soaps, men’s shaving soap, shampoo bars, aftershave, bath salts, facial masks, hand salves, baby soap, diaper salve, lip balm, and deet-free outdoor spray. Gift packages are also available with a combination of products, and the contents can be custom ordered. Soap can be custom ordered as well in many different scents.

Lisa sells from her home located in Johnson Sub, downtown Quesnel. You can also find her products at River Valley Health on Reid St. in Quesnel.
