Glenrosa Gardens

Glenrosa Gardens joined the Farmers' Market in 1990, selling flowers, bedding plants, veggies and herbs. In 1993, they built a 20'x30' greenhouse, which was expanded to 20'x60' in 1996. This increased the types of products they were able to produce, and so they also began offering jams, jellies, salsa, pickles, and chutney at the market. [more...]

North Star House Farm

Paul Zeegers and Cathy Heinzelmein. We wanted our family to eat well, so chose to grow our own meat and vegetables, including beef (from a small herd of purebred and registered Dexter cattle), pasture raised pork and poultry. As production increased and Paul's passion for garlic grew, the extra crop was designated for the Farmer's Market. Now 3 greenhouses support production of bedding plants, tomatoes, peppers and eggplant, and the garden is growing ever larger.
